Jozzy Releases ‘Songs for Women (Deluxe Edition)’ Album

Emerging artist Jozzy has unveiled an enhanced version of her debut EP titled “Songs for Women, Free Game for N****s.” This deluxe edition offers two additional tracks and presents a new mix of “Commotion” by Siobhan Bell, along with an accelerated rendition of “Favorite Shirt.”

One of the newly added tracks, “Like Me,” produced by Deputy, sees Jozzy urging a potential love interest to express their emotions openly. Jozzy revealed that the inspiration for the song stemmed from a conversation with a friend who shared mutual romantic feelings, resulting in the playful and flirty nature of the track.

The second bonus track, “Since 21,” offers encouragement to women who are patiently waiting for the right partner, highlighting that they are treasures worth waiting for. Jozzy explained that the song is dedicated to women who may have become disenchanted by love but refuse to settle, embracing their independence until the right person comes along.

Jozzy initially released the standard version of “Songs for Women” in February, under Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Love Records label. The EP aims to candidly explore the emotional dynamics of relationships, catering to both male and female perspectives, drawing from Jozzy’s understanding of both energies. The EP seeks to resonate with a wide audience by presenting a comprehensive range of emotions and experiences.
